WHAT WE DO

Xecutek solves intractable sensing problems by applying advanced capability ultrasonic sensor systems. We combine our versatile multi channel ULTRA/Ranger 200 system with custom designed POLAROIDĒ transducer configurations to resist harsh environments, provide high precision, suppress interferences, and accommodate large variations in signal amplitude. We also design and develop ultrasonic products for others, including ultrasonic flowmeters, transducers, analog and digital electronics, and software.

We back up our sales with installation and startup services and we guarantee results. Xecutek offers a try-before-buy plan which enables you to lease an ULTRA/Ranger 200 along with transducers designed to suit your requirements.

Xecutek engineers have over 100 man-years of experience in the design and application of in-air ultrasonics, transit-time flowmeters, and sonars. We have developed ultrasonic flowmeters for use in liquids (Caldon Inc.) and in gas (ThermoEnvironmental Instruments Inc.) We are available for consultation at reasonable rates.

Automatic centering of aluminum coils for a cold mill with transducers under kerosene spray for Alumax Mill Products.
Detecting incipient narrow-face bulge in 2800-degF steel immediately below the mold in a continuous slab caster in the presence of spray and steam for U.S. Steel.
Measuring the flow and temperature of hot flue gas in stacks as large as 25-ft D for several coal-fired power plants.
Controlling the loop of hot aluminum between the continuous caster and the hot mill for Golden Aluminum.
Non contact measurement of slab widths on the cutting floor of a continuous slab caster for Bethlehem Steel.
Measuring width and diameter of craft paper rolls on the shipping floor of a mill for Weyerhaeuser Paper.
Locating the edge of a web using ultrasonic diffraction (back scatter), a patented technique.
Orienting small-radius of curvature airframe sections for drilling and riveting for Raytheon.
