Hi there!! My name is Marlis Bauer and I'm from Germany. I was burn in the year 1971 on a cold december day. I growed up in a town named Erfurt in East Germany. As a child I attended a christian kindergarten(I dont know why cuz my whole family isn't christian). This was my first coming to Christ! But the socialistic regime of the GDR were against church, God and Jesus Christ. Anyhow I lost my faith over the years cuz I missed the support of the teachers, of the other children and of my family in these things. In 1989 I fled with my family to West-Germany. Speaking about this time would take many hours.
Some years later I met my boyfriend Marco and I begun listening great christian music. In my opinion this music was as good as all this secular stuff. I visited my first christian concert. It was Saviour Machine and it was totally awesome for me...I cannot describe this gigantic spirit that I felt during this concert. And I begun to listen to many other christian bands and to listen a little more intensive to the message. Well, the message was good, the music was good but my fire was lighted as I heard the great unblack metal bands like Extol, Crimson Moonlight, Antestor, Kekal, Mordecai etc...
uh, this atmospheric sound mixed with this enourmous power plus screaming, grinding or growling vocals - I just loved it!!!
I learned to know many people from the christian and gothic metal scene and I liked their way of live very much. During this time I was at my second Saviour Machine concert. This was absolutely incredible for me and after this concert I determined to work on a Saviour Machine Website (http://www.legend.de). For this work I had to read the bible and I wanted to read more and more. Because of this website I learned to know more and more people and I also begun to worship God more and more and to love Jesus Christ more and more till I could say ond day: "I believe and my faith is big enough to say I'm a christian again!!"

Hi there! I'm 19 years old and I live in a town in the midEast of Sweden called Linköping where I have lived my entire (!?) life. I live in a house with my family which consists of my mother (Irene), my brother (Johan) and my dog (Rasmus, or preferred Kräket -"The Creep"-). So, what can a 19 year old guy from Sweden like to do...? Well, I would guess pretty much the same as you. I really like to play and listen to music. Thank God for the Music!! Oh yeah, by the way, Jesus kicks the devil's butt when it comes to Rock 'n' Roll! (Rock for God's sake - Rock against the devil - to hell with the devil!!!). I love to hang out with my great friends and watching movies, fishing, skiining in winter time, messing' with the computer (most of the time the comp messes with me though...).

I play guitar in a worship band with some of my friends in my Church. We play some kind of alt. worship (HC, rock, grunge, punk.... you name it...). My goal in composing this poem is to give you a look into my ideal existance -my utopia- if you will. One of my strongest convictions is that we, as God's children, are not subject to condemnation on a superficial basis. As long as our appearance does not encourage sin then it should be no bases of judgment or criticism. (and no I do not believe that the gothic or shok dress style, being associated with negative stereotypes thus causing people to judgment and sin, is a viable argument against the fashion) It is up to people to evolve beyond stereotypes and it is up to us, the extreme Christians, to let our primary purposes be known -- and that is with Jesus as your saviour and God as your judge the surface is unimportant. It is your heart, mind and intentions that concerns our father. My ministry goals in life are to: 1)Bring the love and spiritual light of Christ to those who know too well the darkness found without Him... and 2) Educate my fellow brothers in Christ of the Christian Goth and metal ministries working to reach a whole different level of the lost then that associated with you average churches.

What's there to say about me? Well, I'm currently in transition from the Univ of WA in Seattle to a local community college for a computer networking degree. I suffer from chronic laziness and require large amounts of sleep (I can stay up forever without getting tired but once I fall asleep I usually need 8-10 hrs. During last Thanksgiving, I slept for 20 hours with only a small 45-minute break to get up and eat some pumpkin pie! However important things, like Church on Sundays, are easy to wake up for because my mind just pumps out more adrenaline no matter how little sleep I've gotten.) I spend as many waking hours listening to metal as possible. I am trying to vary my musical horizon and recently have purchased modern folk cd from the frozen north that is quite enjoyable, as well as some of Bach's Lutheran Masses, and a Symphony by a Norwegian. I welcome any suggestions for more music in those genres.

Extol is my favorite band, & I love norse blackmetal but powermetal probably is my favorite genre. Norse powermetal that is!

Hey there, I'm Gabe Wright. I'm 17 years old (18 real soon) and I'm a junior in high school. Currently I live in El Paso Texas. Which is huge compared to the small north Idaho town I was born and raised in. I have 14 siblings. 12 adopted. My whole family recently moved down to Texas, and we are now running a childrens home. Which is just totally blessed by God. I like almost all kinds of christian music, but I love the heavier stuff. Some of my favorite bands are SixFeetDeep, POD, ZAO, Precious Death... and well, the list goes on. I really like death metal and music of that nature, I just haven't heard most of the bands. It's all good stuff. Other than being a computer nerd, and techhead, I enjoy boxing, lifting weights, camping, wargames, and other athletic type stuff.
