HoloBarre

Differences between the HoloBarre and other systems.

The chinup bar:

No one, apparently, has ever pursued the following question to its fullest: Just how far can one go using nothing but a bar in a doorway.? The answer, by the way, is: Not very far if you cannot adjust the height. And, if you can adjust the height, you can't go very far if you don't build a safe locking mechanism. And, if the locking mechanism is not super convenient, the people, being the fickle creations that they be, are not going to use it.

Thus, an effective adjustable doorway bar was never successfully brought to market, even though numerous patents were granted on various designs.

Perhaps no one asked the question,How far can one really go? because there wasno point in asking it, given that so much of the above was not addressed.

There are drawbacks to the HoloBarre. One is that it must be installed, to a doorway, or onto any opposing surfaces. That you cannot simply take it out of its box is, in America, a disadvantage. But then, to take something right out of its box and hope to use it safely and effectively for a multitude of functions is not realistic. That is, in part, why what we take out boxes so we can readily slide it under outr bed usually stays under the bed!

That the HoloBarre must be installed is also an advantage. It generally stays where it is installed, and is thus ALWAYS THERE FOR INSTANT USE! And the fact that it can be used so simply and so effectively means that it then WILL be used.
