This is a must visit......click here           Charlie Black Reports from Vietnam in 1968!                                                                                                                Charlie Black has been called the Ernie Pyle of Vietnam. He was a reporter for the Columbus (GA) Enquirer who traveled to Vietnam at least five times to report the war.     In 1968, he tagged along with the 3/17th, writing a series of articles about A, B, C and D Troops. Those stories have been compiled by Bill Nevius at the D Troop website...As a retired Marine, Charlie combined his knowlege and appreciation of the military with great story-telling skills. This site is about the people of B Troop, Helicopters, Air Cavalry, the humorous recollections, the close calls and near misses; most of all, this is a place to say 'hi' and 'do you remember..?' to each other once again.
