Takoma Park Intergenerational Strategy Games Club
The TPISGC is a free program for all ages that meets every TUESDAY from 700 to 900 PM in the Victory Tower Retirement Center on 7051 Carroll Avenue, Takoma Park, MD. A variety of strategy board and card games are available for anyone to use. The games include Carcassonne, Blokus, Rummikub, Chess, Scrabble, Go, Ticket to Ride, Quinto, Lost Cities, and much more.
The TPISGC is supported by grants from the Takoma Foundation and the Montgomery County Under 21 Grant Program. Student volunteers can earn Student Service Learning credit while learning and teaching a variety of innovative and interesting games.
