WHAT READERS SAY ABOUT Risk
"Brava, madame!  This was a magnificent piece of work!  Brilliant characterization, intricate plot, good use of historical-figure-as-Immortal, and all-around engrossing as all get out.  Oh yeah, very nice use of the blues.  Excellent excellent work."
--Keith R. A. DeCandido
"EXCELLENT story! Totally absorbing, suspenseful, and great characterization.
Nicely done! I love Joe, and I think you captured him beautifully." --Jenny

"It's been a long time since an old fashioned, plot laden story has come down the pike.  Thanks a bunch for providing one.  I'm reading it as fast as it pops into my mail box.  <G>" -Sharyl

Long Have I Waited
Co-written by Genevieve and Parda .

(No explicit sex or really gruesome stuff -- rated PG-15)

Long before the Horsemen rode, Methos and Kronos were more than friends--they were family.  This is their story, from the beginning to Bordeaux, told without brainwashing, S&M, or violent persuasions, but with plenty of angst and lots of love--both agape and eros.
(See also its companion story Fury)
WHAT READERS SAY ABOUT Long Have I Waited
"I truly loved your story, it seemed a very plausible and also elegant telling of the history of the horsemen.  Usually I avoid all Horseman stories, but your story really spoke to me and gave me a Methos I could understand and sympathize with." "What a terrifically powerful piece of writing. I loved your depiction of Methos' and Kronos' relationship through the ages. The flashbacks really transported me back into the ancient past. It was all too easy to see how the nihilism of the Horsemen came about." -- Kathy Hunter "Wow!!! Terrific story, powerful writing, and obviously, an enormous amount of research behind it. It ties everything together very well, makes more sense of Methos's motivations. I especially love your account of Methos and Kronos's first meeting." --Wilusa
Just a Game (75 KB) (Oct. 98)
Co-written by Genevieve and Parda .
As Duncan instructs a new Immortal, Methos remembers the origins of the Game.  In flashbacks taking us to the Roman Republic and eighth-century Ireland, he reflects on how the Game has affected his life over the millennia.
WHAT READERS SAY ABOUT Just a Game
"Your characterization of Methos is right on target.  You so perfectly capture his world-weariness, the sense of time and loneliness weighing down at him.  Wonderful job. --Marina "I loved the story and I loved your idea of how the game started.  It was great.  It makes as much or more sense than any other hypothesis.... Congratulations on a very well written and entertaining fan fic." --Penny "I think this story is wonderful! And a wonderful idea! Brilliant! It's written beautifully and expresses so clearly the oppression of time on the Oldest Immortal. All passes. Only he remains. Horrible.." --Maxine

Something Borrowed, Something Blue
ADULT - Violence, rape, adult language.  Very dark piece.

Methos goes hunting.

WHAT READERS SAY ABOUT Something Borrowed, Something Blue
"This was ... the most amazingly horrific piece of in-character Methos fic I have ever read.  Wow. {{shudder}}"
-Lisa Krakowa
"All too horrifingly possible."
"Intense, gripping, sickening, scary, vicious, and (what's really disturbing) believable."
