July 1997 DM sells Dojo, doing business by mail.  Watcher CD
18 July 1997 Joe resigns post as Regional Coordinator of Seacouver, becoming an Adjunct Professor at the Watcher Training Acadmey.  He waits in Paris for DM to return.  The bar in Seacouver is sold; Joe buys Le Blues Bar.  Watcher CD
19 May 1998 DM returns to Paris, sans ponytail.  Sophie Baines dies, but DM meets "dead" Sophie 1- Avatar

20 May DM cleans out barge.  Joe agrees to help, recruiting "two dozen Watchers--field guys and every archaeologist we can spare."  DM meets "dead" Sophie at morgue; "dead" Sophie jumps off bridge.   (first time we see Le Blues Bar)
21 May 1998  Joe sends a memo, telling 2 Watchers to go to a cave in Iraq Watcher CD
