The prophecy about the solstice child is said in two different ways:
On the beach at the beginning of the episode:
"The prophecy tells of a Highland child, born on the Winter
Solstice, who has gone through Darkness into Light, and survives
to challenge the Voice of Death."
At the cemetery, right before the police come to arrest Duncan:
"An evil one will come, to vanquish all before him.
Only a Highland Child, born on the Winter Solstice, who has seen both
Darkness and Light can stop him. A child, and a man."
This form of the prophecy is repeated during Roland's quickening and also during the episode Archangel.
